Amaroo Peace Event
Ivory’s Rock Conventions and Events
The Amaroo Peace event runs in September most years, with 2018 being the last time. The Keynote Speaker, Prem Rawat, speaks about personal peace and well-being. He talks a couple of times a day throughout the week at Ivory’s Rocks Conventions and Events, in the open air Amphitheatre that seats up to 4500 guests.
The event attracts up to 4500 people from 65 countries. We accommodate up to 2000 guests onsite in an array of accommodation types from fitted out tents with beds, to en-suite cabins. The guests are greeted at the international and domestic terminals. They are transported to site and back again at the end of the event. Guests are also offered hotel accommodation in Ipswich and Brisbane and transported each day to and from the venue.
The event is fully catered, serving 2000 meals, breakfast and dinner and 4500 meals at lunch. Set on 2000 acres of land and split by a public road, the operations and logistics surrounding this event is considerable. Working with the local community, we have managed to source the majority of our services and staff locally contributing to the local economy consistent with our business ethos. Eventos Circulares provided the Event Manager and the Operations and Logistics manager for this event for the last five years.
Wynnum Manly Seafood Festival 2019
This year saw the return of the Wynnum Manly Seafood Festival run by Ozfish for the first time, raising money for the shellfish rehabilitation project in Moreton Bay. Our Operations and Logistics Manager assisted the Event Manager in the last couple of weeks. He volunteered his time helping with the organisation of the Seafood Festival. The crowds were well over what they expected, 15,000, but it was a perfect day and raised a lot of much-needed funds. Only upwards and more prominent from here. A pleasure to work with Robbie and the Ozfish Team.
