“By failing to prepare, you are preparing to fail.”
Why Name our Business Circular?
Having worked in the event industry for 20+ years our co-founder wanted to change the way we do business and our events.
After working with large national and international businesses providing services for the events she realised that this was not helping the local community. Engagement with the community is critical to creating the outcomes you want and by utlising the local resources we keep the money circulating locally. It is the memories and resources we leave behind that determine an event’s sustainability.
Begoña is our event manager. She has a wealth of experience, having run events large and small in over 45 countries. At the peak of her travel, she was working on and running 90+ events across the globe each year. Begoña cut her teeth on cultural events in Portugal and Spain running operas and festivals. In recent years she has travelled extensively running a 45,000 event in India and several, week-long outdoor events in Queensland. It is not every day you get to work closely with someone like this.
Ted has been the operations and logistics manager for the last few years at Ivory's Rock Conventions and Events running the Amaroo Peace event for 4500 delegates from 65 countries held for ten days in September each year. He also comes with varied experience in other industries providing a different perspective on things.
